AI Wellbeing: Staying Sharp in the Age of AI

Module 5 of 5 · 5 min

Your AI Wellbeing Charter

Turn this into commitments you will actually keep. Write your charter small: three cognitive habits, two physical habits, and one non-negotiable verification rule. Three real changes beat ten aspirational ones.

If you work in a team, agree two or three shared norms out loud. Strong examples: we say when a draft is AI-generated, so it gets the right level of human check; outside-frontier tasks always get a human review before they go out; protected no-AI thinking time is normal here, not a sign of falling behind; we do not reward speed alone, we reward thinking that holds up.

Then pick one change for this week and tell one real person, with a short check-in agreed. Public commitment to a specific person is the strongest predictor that a change survives contact with Monday.

The throughline was never to fear AI or retreat from it. It is to stay the sharpest version of yourself while using the most powerful tool of your career. Move from the couch to the gym.

The one thing to take

Norms only hold when they are written down and modelled. Make yours explicit.
